  New School Building Updates for March
  We’re thrilled to share that our new school project is moving forward, though we continue to navigate the necessary approvals and financial steps with care, including:

  ·         Architectural Plans: The Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services has given conditional approval to our plans—a key milestone in the process

  ·         City Planning: The Columbus Planning Board has recommended to the City Council that no further improvements are needed for Fuller Street at this time. We anticipate final site plan approval following the next City Council meeting

  ·         Construction Leadership: Encompass Construction will serve as the general contractor and will also perform some of the work

  ·         Bidding Process: Aaron Larson is currently collecting bids from subcontractors, aiming to have all bids in by the end of March

  ·         Financing in Progress: The Stewardship Board is actively working to secure the necessary financing

  ·         Updated Groundbreaking: Due to site plan approval delays, we now anticipate breaking ground in May, right after the school year concludes

Top Tier Gifts Needed!

We need both a broad base of support and a few fairly substantial gifts in order to ensure our “Building TOMORROW Together.” Not everyone can make one of these top-tier gifts equal to 1, 5, 10, 15, and 20 percent or more of our goal.
